About

The name is Conor McGrath, a New York-based Director of Photography, Steadicam operator, and all-around camera and lighting enjoyer. I’ve spent the last few years honing my craft across narrative, commercial, and video work. Whether I’m building lighting or camera rigs at MCM Stages in Manhattan or chasing dynamic moments with a Steadicam, I’m always aiming to bring a thoughtful and cinematic eye to every frame.

I’ve worked closely with seasoned DPs, while also managing lighting, gripping, and AC roles on productions big and small. My experience behind the camera is matched by my adaptability on set. Whether it's a studio shoot or a run-and-gun documentary, I’m comfortable shifting between styles and solving problems fast. I'm especially drawn to projects with emotional depth, movement, and energy, and I’m always looking to collaborate with teams who push creative boundaries.

Let’s make something bold.
